DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to celebrate the reopening of Main Library on Saturday\, Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.! All ages are welcome at this free community event.  \n\n\n\n\nTour the new Maker Labs\, Children’s Area\, Teen Space\, Meeting Rooms\, Living Room\, and Event and Meeting Spaces and take in the beautiful new modern features and amenities of Tacoma’s beloved downtown library!\n\n\n\nEnjoy performances throughout the day — and arrive early to be part of a joyful procession into the building!\n\n\n\nVisit the much-anticipated Maker Labs to learn from library staff how to utilize the spaces and equipment in the Digital Media Lab\, Memory Lab\, and Wonder Lab for your creative endeavors\n\n\n\nMeet the members of the Community Hub and learn about how they are working with TPL to create an ecosystem of creativity\, sustainability\, and hands-on learning on the second floor\n\n\n\nVisit the Northwest Room and learn about their outreach\, engagement\, and new hours of operation\n\n\n\nVisit the refreshed Handforth Gallery for a showcase by local artists
